Computer World was founded in 1980 by Fred Meche. He decided to start a company that would provide the latest and greatest in Point of Sales and Service.

As technology evolved, so did the company. Now, Computer World stands as one of the leading providers of Restaurant Systems, Camera Systems, Grocery Scales, and Cash Registers in Louisiana and the surrounding states.

Our team provides supermarkets, retail grocers and restaurants with everything from installation of equipment to programming, keying in of items, on-site training of employees and comprehensive service and support after the sale.

We specialize in surveillance systems, meat and produce scales, as well as cash registers. We also sell P.O.S. supplies including receipt paper, ribbons, and scale labels.
