Over the last two years, Marseille Provence has shown its support to the cruise industry by being a shelter port and then the first French port to resume cruise calls in July 2021.

The port of Marseille has maintained its investments for a greener cruise activity thanks to the Blue Charter, the ESI Program, the development of LNG bunkering and shorepower supply for cruise ships by 2025.

The cruise club is working to manage the flows of cruise guests in the city center and to develop sustainable and exclusive tours in Provence for guests and local community satisfaction.

The Marseille Provence territory is easily accessible thanks to its international airport and train station, and offers a large range of accommodation, venues and itineraries to propose pre or post cruise stays to your guests.

Major sites, exhibitions, and amazing events are coming soon: the Cosquer cave, the Joconde exhibition, the Luma Art Center (Frank Ghery tower), Formula 1, 2023 Rugby World Cup, 2024 Olympic Games (sailing races)... And of course, Provencal highlights, such as the Popes' Palace, the Alpilles' hilltop villages or the Camargue wildlife, can't wait to see your guests back!
