The MEYER Group with its shipyards MEYER WERFT, MEYER TURKU and NEPTUN WERFT has proven its resilience once more recently: The innovations made by MEYER are already in the making. In 2023, MEYER WERFT will deliver Silver Nova, which will achieve a cruise industry first – zero-emission operation in port by using fuel cells and batteries.
Also worthy of note: In 2021 the Japanese shipping company NYK Cruises and MEYER WERFT signed a contract for the construction of a new cruise ship. MEYER WERFT is the first shipyard in the world to have succeeded in doing so, as no shipping company has placed a newbuilding order for a cruise ship since the beginning of the pandemic.
The MEYER Group is additionally diversifying its portfolio. The family-owned company has founded MEYER Yachts and presented a 150 meter mega yacht concept powered entirely by fuel cells and batteries, named ONE 50.
In 2022 MEYER Floating Solutions and MEYER RE were added to the product portfolio.
