Valmet launches new emission control solutions that enable ship owners to achieve their sustainability at sea goals. The hybrid scrubber is a solution that can switch between the open- and closed-loop operation modes. Valmet has tested the scrubber and wet electrostatic precipitator combination, and, as a result, the company can cut exhaust gas emissions from a marine diesel engine by up to 99 %.
