Mercy Ships, the global charity and non-profit partner for Seatrade Cruise Global, utilizes hospital ships, staffed by an all-volunteer crew, to deliver free, world-class healthcare services and capacity building to countries in the lower third of the UN Human Development Index. We work with each host nation to strengthen its healthcare delivery system while serving the surgical needs of its people. We also provide training opportunities for medical professionals in those nations. Since 1978, Mercy Ships has provided services and materials valued at over $1.3 billion, bringing hope and healing to the world’s forgotten poor.
