Schiatti Angelo is a family company specialized in the manufacturing of glass working machinery that offers a complete range of straight and double edgers also in line, drillers, multi heads drillers, bevelers, glass loaders/unloaders ,drilling centres and vertical drilling/milling machines. Schiatti gives top priority to quality and customer satisfaction; that’s why some of its products had been designed and manufactured to meet specific needs such as complete and automated vertical and horizontal edging lines and personalized industry 4.0 solutions.
Sinche 2019, Schiatti edgers have a new addition: the automatic adjustment of the diamond wheels. These machines already were able to adjust automatically the polishing wheels through a PLC and now the glass grinding process can also be performed automatically by a new Mitsubushi PLC. This new improvement of self adjustment diamonds allows to save time in the set up, testing and reduce human error, making easier for the operator to maintain the working tolerances.
