Bill has over 20 years of experience with life and health insurance companies. His experience also includes property and casualty insurance companies offering a range of coverages including homeowners, fire, earthquake, auto physical damage and liability, commercial multiple peril, workers’ compensation, other liabilities, medical malpractice, professional liability, surety and warranty.
He started his career with Moore Stephens in Los Angeles, London, and Milan. He was in charge of the firm’s European SEC and U.S. GAAP practice section, working primarily with foreign SEC registrants.
Bill served on the AICPA’s Insurance Revenue Recognition Task Force, a group charged with developing revenue recognition implementation guidance and illustrative examples for application of the new revenue recognition standard for insurance entities. He represents the firm as a member of the Pacific Association of Domestic Insurance Companies, a trade organization dedicated to addressing the unique issues faced by California’s domestic insurance companies.
He is a graduate of California State University, Northridge, past president of the Southern California Chapter of Insurance Accounting and Systems Association (IASA), a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA).
