NPs, Nurses, and Midwives: Partnering to Prevent FASDs is a member of the Collaborative for Alcohol-Free Pregnancy and the National National Partnerships to Address Prenatal Alcohol and Other Substance Use and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders. We are a collaboration between AWHONN, NPWH, and the University of Alaska Anchorage. Our partnership aims to increase knowledge and skills among advanced practice nurses and midwives about the health impact of excessive alcohol use, including any alcohol use during pregnancy, to reduce alcohol-exposed pregnancies and improve population health.
