MP Machinery and Testing (MPM) is a leading provider of testing services for industrial customers. The Company provides reliable testing services in a quick turnaround time. While MPM provides a variety of different services, the majority of its services are tied to the testing and analysis of the strength and durability of mission critical components.

MPM has recently developed and commercialized its Instrumented Indentation System (I2S) system, used to measure uniaxial yield stress, ultimate tensile strength, and Brinell hardness, all from a non-destructive surface indentation. The MPM I2S fully satisfies applicable American Society for Testing of Material (ASTM) Standards for quality, safety, and performance. For example, data for a single A36 steel alloy resulted in an uncertainty of about 5 ksi at the 99% confidence interval whether measured by standard destructive methods or by the I2S indentation test.
