This unique filter bag combines a basalt scrim with standard filtration fibers such as P84® or PPS to suit your application or needs. The result is superior filter bag performance. Meteor™ filter bags are ideally suited where high temperatures and humidity are present, with an increased risk of fire or dust combustion, or heavy abrasion.

FABRIC PROPERTIES 

Engineered by Albarrie, Tandem™ Filter Bags combine a high‐performance surface layer of Polyamide P84® fibers with other conventional filter media, such as Acrylic, Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS), Polyester, or Meta-Aramid for enhanced filtration performance. The P84® top layer, with its multilobal fiber construction, provides a higher surface area for effective surface filtration and dust cake formation. Polyimide P84® fibers also help maintain high airflow and low‐pressure drop across the media.

Tandem™ baghouse filter bags don’t require a membrane since the top layer provides the filter bag with the added protection needed in a highly abrasive environment. In addition, P84® fibers offer good chemical and high-temperature resistance, making them suitable for many applications.
