• CCE Cast-Con Engineering GmbH & Co.KG Unveils the Optimized CCE Slag Pot 2.0 (Mar 11, 2023)

  [Rheinberg, Germany, March 11th 2023] - CCE Cast-Con Engineering GmbH & Co.KG, a leading manufacturer of high-quality engineering solutions, is proud to announce the launch of its latest product, the CCE Slag Pot 2.0. The company was tasked to design and supply a new version of slag pots within six months, and the result is a product that exceeds all expectations.

  The CCE Slag Pot 2.0 has undergone several design changes and developments to enhance its performance and durability. The improvements include wear plates below the trunnions, a knocking pad in the ground area for knocking with hydraulic hammer to support the removal of the "steel bears," wall reinforcement in the tilting direction to avoid through pouring during the filling process by running steel, reinforced knocking pad with homogeneous transition to slag pot outer surfaces to absorb the mechanical action by "knocking" the slag pot during emptying, compliance with the maximum weight, taking into account the required total volume and durability, development of two different sizes (7+16cbm) for a two-claw vehicle, and coordination with 2 different slag pot carrier manufacturers.

  CCE uses 3D and 4D CAD software for design, construction, and simulation to ensure that all parameters are considered in the early phase of the product development process.
