Gradall’s industrial maintenance machines are built and tested for challenging yet efficient work. In BOF maintenance, the Gradall/LAG machine can de-skull the converter lip or clean and replace tapholes. When maintaining electric furnaces, use the Gradall/LAG machine to remove slag and refractory buildup or clean and place tapholes. Around blast furnaces, Gradall/LAG machines make it efficient to maintain hot metal troughs by removing hard slag and refractory brick. Gradall/LAG machines are also ideal for torpedo car cleanup.  Proven to withstand pounding and vibration, Gradall/LAG machines have heavy-duty boom rollers, a rugged boom, and a boom tilt motor that is protected from damage at the rear of the boom.
