Harsco Service Overview. Harsco provides solutions to the metals industry for onsite logistics, product quality and resource recovery. With operations at more than 160 locations in over 30 countries, Harsco follows the footprint of the metals industry across the globe. Harsco began life last century by offering metal recovery from steel slag, and expanded into other arenas to meet the appetite for services in the metals industry, as well as responding to the growing environmental issues. Our core competence remains to design, build and operate plant and equipment under long term service contracts. Today our activities span across environmental remediation, metal recovery, blending and refining steel making by-product (agglomeration, briquetting, pelletizing of mill-scale, sludge and dusts), slag co-product commercialization, steel product surface conditioning and onsite logistics. We service sectors such as steel, aluminum, foundries, copper, nickel, zinc and ferroalloys.
