  • DMC Safe Exhaust Valves
    The DM1 and DM2® Series C valve safety function is to shut off supply or pneumatic energy and to exhaust any pneumatic energy from downstream of the valve...

  • The DMC Safe Exhaust valves are dual valves used to block the supply and remove the downstream pressure from the circuit or machine. It is integrated into the electrical safety system to remove potentially hazardous energy in order to provide employees safe access to a machine or zone. By quickly removing the pneumatic energy with a safety valve, determined by risk assessment, the safety system integrity is maintained allowing the employee to complete their tasks safely and rapidly.

    DMC has redundant control, dynamic monitoring, dynamic memory and can achieve Category 4, PL e when used with proper safety controls. DM1C has redundant control, dynamic monitoring, and can achieve Category 4 PLe when used with proper safety controls.

    Externally monitored safe exhaust valves are also available from ROSS.

  • Pneumatic Energy Isolation Valve

  • ROSS manual L-O-X (lockout & exhaust) valves are energy isolation valves and are generally used as the first valve in a line supplying compressed air to equipment.

    OSHA and ISO 14118 compliance requires that the valve be padlocked in the closed position to prevent the handle from being pulled out inadvertently during maintenance and/or servicing.

  • M35 Safe Exhaust Valves
    The M35 Series valve safety function is to shut off supply or pneumatic energy and to exhaust any pneumatic energy from downstream of the valve....

  • The M35 Series valve is designed to supply air to a zone or entire machine/system until signaled to shut off and exhaust residual downstream pneumatic energy from the machine.  Thus, reducing the hazards associated with the presence of residual energy during employee access and/or minor servicing.
