DANBURY, Conn. April 15, 2022− (NYSE: LIN) Linde today announced that it will be presenting at the Iron & Steel Technology (AISTech) Conference and Exhibition. Linde will be showcasing products and services that deliver value and support decarbonization. Linde will feature its Linde Green™ hydrogen, certified to have a carbon intensity that is 40% to 100% lower than hydrogen produced through conventional steam methane reforming. The company will also feature hot oxygen technology, REBOX® oxy-fuel steel reheating, and their CoJet® gas injection system. Linde is also proud to be celebrating 25 years of CoJet technology which has lowered costs and improved productivity of electric arc furnaces (EAF) via effective and efficient use of chemical energy.
The AISTech event is being held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center from May 16- 19, 2022. Linde will be exhibiting at booth # 1935.

- Valmiro Sa, Sumant Warty, Izaias Marques of Linde’s R&D team, Vitor Zanotelli of White Martins Gases Industriais, and Gustavo Pelisser, Joyce Vieira of Gerdau, will present the technical paper titled Linde’s Innovative Method to Improve Energy Efficiency in the EAF, on Monday, May 16 at 10:00 AM in Room 406. They will discuss an innovative method that provides real-time dynamic control in achieving effective energy optimization and how it can be deployed as a decarbonization strategy to improve energy utilization in EAFs.
- Hamzah Alshawarghi, Technology Expert, Linde and Rafael Bruch, Gerdau, will present the technical paper titled Performance and Results of Linde CoJet Technology at Gerdau Long Steel North America Midlothian Mill, on Tuesday, May 17 at 11:00AM in Room 406.
