Offering the best weather in Europe during wintertime thanks to Trade Winds and the geographical situation, temperature swings 18°C/24°C 64ºF/75ºF all year round and providing a variety of outstanding experiences in UNESCO World Heritage Sites and Biosphere Reserves. Over last 25 years figures increased from 286,000 cruise passengers in 1994 to nearly 3,4 million in 2019 visit the islands on board a cruise ship to transatlantic cross from Caribbean and South America to Mediterranean and North Europe; to explore the Northwest Africa coast; to sail from UK or West Mediterranean to Madeira, the Canaries and Africa; to combine Madeira & Canary Islands with the Moroccan coast and Cape Verde. APRAM manages all ports in Madeira and Porto Santo. ENAPOR manages all ports in Cabo Verde. The Port Authority of Tenerife manages 5 cruise ports in the western canaries’ archipelago while the Port Authority of Las Palmas manages 3 cruise ports in the eastern area.
