Gem City Fine Foods, maker of high quality delectable frozen nut-free and certified gluten-free frozen desserts announces new this year, Vegan Chocolate Cake and Cupcakes that are free of the Top 8 Food Allergens.
The commercial bakery, traditionally accommodating celiac and gluten sensitive diners and their families and friends, extended care to those with tree nut and peanut allergies by removing all nuts from their desserts and the facility in 2018. Aggressive product development efforts during the year led to revamping their Vegan Chocolate Cake, replacing soy milk with rice milk, which resulted in improved flavor and texture and wider appeal to food allergic consumers and their loved ones. This decadently rich chocolate layer cake with creamy vanilla frosting and its spin-off cupcakes are both free of the Top 8 Food Allergens and packaged for either retail sale or in bulk for food service purposes including restaurant and catering.
Gem City Fine Foods offers an entire line of delectable certified gluten-free (and nut-free) desserts including a Specialty Food Association sofi award-winning Flourless Chocolate Torte, five Cheesecakes and a Carrot Cake in an array of sizes. All are made with high quality clean ingreients and available for sampling at Catersource at Booth #136, where Owner Rick Kent and CEO/ Sales and Marketing Manager Lisa Cox will be available to answer questions and dish out desserts.
