  • It provides a rate of mechanical energy input higher than  traditional horizontal agitator bead mills due to the recently designed DYNO-ACCELERATORS, making it capable of maintaining the rated peripheral speeds of the grinding media while processing suspensions having viscosities potentially too high for milling with standard agitator bead mills. This machine utilizes a screen cartridge ensuring that the grinding beads are captive to the grinding chamber while allowing for much higher product throughputs. It has been shown that recycling product suspensions at high flowrates through the DYNO-MILL ECM-AP mills has resulted in generating tighter final particle size distributions in less time..  The DYNO-MILL ECM-AP 05 can be configured using a variety of control schemes that range from manual operations with on/off buttons, to fully automated PLC based systems. This laboratory version of the DYNO-MILL ECM-AP series mills includes all the features found in the production units, providing for a straightforward scalability.

    A recent WAB-GROUP innovation now allows for the DYNO-MILL MULTI LAB to be operated in sterile manufacturing environments. The Stainless Steel DYNO-MILL MULTI LAB, can now be configured for sterile, wet milling operations....

  • Grinding media can now be sterilized in-situ, along with the entire grinding chamber assembly, followed by the sterilization of the entire double mechanical shaft seal assembly via PLC controlled and monitored protocols.  Qualification documents are available from the factory.  Numerous grinding chamber sizes, including 0.3, 0.6 and 1.4 liter, make it convenient to accommodate your desired batch size. Touch screen interface, along with 21 CFR conforming real time data transfer is available. The DYNO-MILL MULTI LAB easily scales up to the larger model DYNO-MILL KD-6, which is also available in all stainless steel construction and configurable for sterile operations. With its 6 liter grinding chamber, it includes all of the features of the DYNO-MILL MULTI LAB, making it is perfect for processing larger production batch sizes.   • The TURBULA is used for the homogenous mixing of powders having very different bulk densities and particle sizes, and is routinely used by the pharmaceutical industry for uniformly dispersing API’s into excipients. The motion, based on the Schatz geometric theory, is most suitable for powders requiring very gentle mixing, as is desired for the blending of dendrite materials. Additionally, the blending of wet and dry materials is possible for applications involving extractions of chemical compounds. The TURBULA mixing basket can accommodate containers of any geometry, including test tubes, Erlenmeyer flasks, Separatory funnels, and any bottles. Another unique feature of this blender is that the mixing baskets are not dedicated to specific batch sizes. You can insert any size container, which can be filled up to 95%, into a TURBULA mixing basket. The mixing energies of the TURBULA are scalable to batch sizes of up to 50 liters.  Larger volumes, up to 1000 liters, can be processed through the use of the WAB dyna-MIX line of mixers.  Machines can include variable frequency drives, and timers, and the larger scale units can be controlled via PLC’s, with real time data transfer of machine operating conditions via Ethernet connections.
