ITALIAN TRADE AGENCY
The Italian Trade Agency is the Italian government organization working to develop, facilitate and promote economic and commercial relationships abroad, and marketing Italian goods and services internationally. It further promotes the “Made in Italy” around the world and Italy itself as a destination for foreign investment. The Italian Trade Agency is subject to authority and supervision of the Ministry of Economic Development and has a dedicated program of activities to promote the Italian Machinery Industry abroad with several promotional events every year in Europe and North America. Its Houston office is in charge with Glass Machinery.
Estabilished in 1980, GIMAV – the Association of Italian Manufacturers of Machinery, Plants and Systems, special Products and Accessories for glass processing – is known today as a guiding force for the industry in Italy and abroad. Its underlying goals are to safeguard the best interests of the industry, to foster the growth and expansion of its business culture, and to carry out activities that boost and support the promotion of Made in Italy culture in the glass industry around the globe.
