MAFTEC Corporation was established in 2022 by taking over the business from Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation. MAFTEC™ is a Polycrystalline Alumina Fiber with excellent heat resistance and chemical stability that exhibits stable functionality even at ultra-high temperatures of 1600°C and maintains practical elasticity at 1300°C.
MAFTEC™ Blanket is manufactured in Japan (Joetsu/Sakaide Plant) and sold worldwide. MAFTEC™ Blanket has been used worldwide as one of the top suppliers for industrial heat insulators for nearly 40 years and has an overwhelming market share for Support Mat for catalytic converters in automobiles.
