SISC is the largest public school pool in the U.S. We’re a coalition of California schools celebrating our 40th year of innovation, commitment and trust with member districts.  SISC staff also happen to be public school employees, just like the customers we serve.

We operate three programs…Health Benefits, Workers’ Compensation and Property and Liability.  Our size and careful underwriting allow us to offer affordable rates.  Our fair and predictable rate renewals are major reasons districts join SISC and stay for decades.

As a public entity, we don’t operate on profit margins. We exist solely to provide the best products and services to our districts and their employees.
