SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit, Member owned, financial cooperative that has been serving the financial needs of school employees and their families since 1934. We are the nation’s largest credit union for school employees, the 5th largest credit union in the country, and the largest in California.
We currently serve over 300 school districts and county offices providing assistance with compliance and retirement plan education. We offer and administer 403(b), 457(b), Roth 403(b), 401(a), and 3121 FICA Alternative Plans. Our administrative and compliance responsibilities include plan eligibility, periodic plan review meetings, plan document maintenance, contribution monitoring, excess/returned contribution management, review and sign-off on all transaction requests (loan, distribution, transfer, hardship and QDRO), plan recordkeeping, 403bCompare profile management and investment provider relationship management just to name a few!
