Founded in 1913, ASLRRA proudly represents the entrepreneurial owners and operators of short line and regional railroads throughout North America. Our membership rolls of over 1,050 companies also include firms that provide railroad switching, terminal and tourist/excursion services and supply goods and services to the short line industry. ASLRRA serves its membership through results-oriented representation in Washington, D.C., and delivers a wide range of industry services and professional development opportunities including training, meetings and conferences. ASLRRA puts on a wide variety of educational meetings during the course of the year. From the spring Annual Conference and Expo and the two fall regional meetings to numerous safety training seminars and Railroad Day on Capitol Hill, meetings are truly the public face of the ASLRRA.
