Ontario Trap Rock is a specialty aggregate quarry on a 1,000-acre site on the shores of Lake Huron. It produces a durable rock ideally suited to the most demanding environments and applications. The quarry contains more than 80 million tons of aggregate known as diabase or trap rock. The very hard, durable nature of trap rock makes it ideally suited to the stringent specifications of railroads.
