As a leader in terminal design, LEO A DALY was the first American firm to design boarding lounges and gates to accommodate the Airbus A380 aircraft at Los Angeles International Airport. Additionally, LEO A DALY actively participated with the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to develop prototypes in the fast-changing world of aviation security. Working with Boeing, we published standards for security screening checkpoints across the United States and led the federal implementation of explosives detection scanning systems for checked baggage.
