New technologies at JBT include JetDock, PowerShare and iOPS telematics software.  JetDock is an operator assist, automatic docking capability for GSE and passenger boarding bridges.  Without the need for decals on the fuselage, JBT equipment will safely navigate to the aircraft cargo or passenger door.  PowerShare is an innovative means for intelligently sharing excess power from the gate equipment power feeds to battery chargers located near the boarding bridge rotundas.  With PowerShare, airports can be transitioned to electric operations without the need for upgrades to the power grid, costly cable runs, or disruptive trenching and excavations.  iOPS is a real-time equipment monitoring and diagnostic capability suitable for GSE and gate equipment providing actionable information on PCs and mobile devices.
