DFW Airport Fire Training Research Center the global leader in fire training.

The Fire Training Research Center (FTRC) at DFW provides agencies with Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) and professional development training services in an environment unique to any other training center in the world. Since 1995, the FTRC has served firefighters from around the world and hosted a variety of course offerings such as basic and advanced aircraft fire suppression, incident management, emergency vehicle operations, and vehicle mass application. Our training curriculums include on-site high-tech classroom, front-line instructors, and  multiple live fire mockups - including the only A380 360 degree live fire mock-up. Additionally, off-campus courses can be held at your facility providing goal-specific instruction with  high-tech applications that reinforce emergency response strategies and tactics. In addition, our research capabilities allow airport, aviation, and firefighting industries an opportunity to field test and explore new research and technologies across many disciplines that shape tomorrow's best practices and industry standards.
