Are you interested in biomedical engineering or are thinking about applying to an MD-PhD program?  Studying biophysics can help you reach your career goals! Biophysics applies the power of physics, chemistry, and math to understanding health, preventing disease, and inventing cures. The Summer Research Program in Biophysics gives you the opportunity to conduct your own biophysics research and learn more about this exciting, interdisciplinary field.

The Summer Research Program is an 11-week scholarship program hosted by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In addition to independent research, this program includes lectures, seminars, team-building activities, and field trips. All tuition and fees are covered and participants receive a stipend for living expenses throughout the summer.

Program Directors: We have many opportunities for your students, from summer research to undergraduate travel awards. Stop by Booth 463 to learn more about what the Biophysical Society has to offer your students.
