The Tuskegee University Integrative Biosciences PhD Program is designed to integrate research, education and service to advance the creation of new knowledge, apply existing knowledge to solve societal problems and educate future generations of learners to address the health, food and environmental challenges of the 21st century.

The IBS Program strengthens candidates' knowledge and technical proficiency across the life sciences, preparing them for collaborative, transdisciplinary assignments in numerous fields.

Students can expect interdisciplinary learning via faculty co-mentors, cutting-edge research, rigorous coursework, engaging seminars, public and private sector internships, and teaching experiences.

The IBS PhD Progam is jointly supported by the College of Agriculture, Environment and Nutrition Sciences (CAENS), College of Arts and Science (CAS) and the College of Veterinary Medicine, Nursing and Allied Health (CVMNAH).
