Located some 70 miles from the south coast of Britain but only 25 miles from the coast of France, makes the Islands of Guernsey an ideal location for cruise calls.
St Peter Port, Guernsey’s picturesque capital, is a popular port of call capable of handling at least two large cruise liners at any one time with a turnover of over 80 calls per year. Having won the ‘Best UK/British Isles Port of Call’ category in the Cruise Critic Editors’ Picks Awards 3 times in 4 years, we continuously strive to improve visit experience and in 2019 our welcome team successfully took part in hidden disability training.
With the disembarkation pontoon only 600 meters away, passengers have an effortless 5 minute walk to the centre of St Peter Port which is an ideal base from which to explore the islands’ attractions. There is a huge variety of excursions on offer, ranging from cliff walks to gin tasting.
The Islands of Guernsey are made up of five beautiful islands, Guernsey, Alderney, Sark, Herm and Lihou. Guernsey is the perfect base from which to explore the islands on foot, by bicycle or even a horse and cart on Sark.
