Keeping devices on board ships and vessels to the relevant ship time / time zone has long been an issue for the maritime and cruise industry. The team at theICEway is delighted to present a solution designed to solve this problem: tzChromar.

At sea, cruise ships and vessels have issues with showing the correct time zone on their on-board devices. Traditionally, the on-board IT management team have manually adjusted device times to allow those on board to have an accurate time.

tzChromar is powered by theICEway and plots the vessel's current position. This allows for time zone changes to be scheduled in advance or applied instantly by the crew member(s) with time zone admin privileges. They can easily set the required time zone in just a couple of clicks, with all devices then updating automatically. Crucially, tzChromar also enables cruise lines and maritime companies to have a fleet-wide overview of all ships and vessels.
