The Technical Safety Department (Segumar) is open 24/7 and has several offices around the globe, including one in Miami to cater to the cruise industry, and is supported by a network of over 60 Consulates worldwide.
The Regional Seafarers’ Offices globally supervise among other responsibilities the certification of over 600,000 seafarers.
In 2017, the Panama Ship Registry celebrated its first century promoting global trade.
