Collaboration between CPA and Royal Caribbean Group to reinforce Latin American cruise market

Curaçao Ports Authority (CPA) in collaboration with Royal Caribbean Group (RCG) has organized a meeting with the Minister of Economic Development Mr. Ruisandro Cijntje, management of the Curacao Tourist Board (CTB) and SEL Maduro on the cruise ship Rhapsody of the Seas which visited Curaçao as part of its Latin-American itinerary.

CPA signs Sister Port Agreement with the Port of Surinam

Curaçao Ports Authority (CPA) has signed a so-called “Sister-Port Cooperation Agreement” with N.V. Havenbeheer Suriname, establishing a formal collaboration to explore commercial opportunities between the two port companies in the areas of freight, infrastructure, cruise development and maritime services relating to, among other things, the petroleum and gas industry. CPA signs sister port agreement with Kingston Wharves Limited

Curaçao Ports Authority (CPA) has signed a sister port agreement with Kingston Wharves Limited (KWL) from Jamaica, to formalize a collaboration in order to continue to enhance the logistics and to promote business between the two ports and also to capitalize on opportunities that will benefit both ports. CPA is continuously seeking to further strengthen its relationships with ports worldwide that are meaningfully interconnected with the Port of Willemstad. In connection herewith, CPA has close contacts with prominent ports and maritime entities such as the Port of Miami, the Port of Rotterdam, Panama Canal Authority, the Port of Sans Souci, Haina International Terminals, APORDOM, Aruba Ports Authority, the Port of Sint-Maarten and the Port of Bonaire.

The "app" is primarily targeted to those in the service sector that cater to cruise passengers. It allows for quick and timely access to useful information. The Safe mooring locations provide optimal conditions for any vessel type and may be available for long-term stays. The Caracasbaai jetties offer berths with a depth of 13.7 meters and a maximum LOA of 320, while the depth at the St. Michiel buoy is 39.6 meters and holds a maximum of 350,000 DWT.
