Qatar National Tourism Council’s mission is to establish Qatar as a leading destination with authentic offerings across culture, sports, business and family entertainment, rooted in Service Excellence.
In the 19/20 season, before the season was cut short due to covid-19, Qatar welcomed over 200k cruise visitors. QNTC’s next objective is to expand the availability of homeporting in Qatar, allowing cruise visitors to spend 1-3 nights in Qatar, thereby greatly increasing their value to the country.
Doha Port is undergoing massive redevelopment to be transformed into a cruise hub and touristic landmark. At present, Doha Port can welcome more than one mega cruise ship at the same time.
