Blackwater Technical Services is an independent ISO 17025:2017 certified laboratory recognized by Miami Dade, Texas Department of Insurance, Safety Glazing Certification Council (SGCC) and the Florida Building Code.  We specialize in product certification testing of building envelope and fenestration systems and products such as windows, doors, curtain walls, window walls, railings, structural wall panels, and hurricane protection products.   The tests we routinely perform include Impact Testing (Hurricane and Tornado), Cyclic Wind Pressure Loading, Structural Pressure Loading, Operating Force, Forced Entry Resistance, Water Penetration (Static Pressure and Dynamic), Air Infiltration, Static Water Pressure Flood Resistance, Wall/Floor Panel Structural Tests (racking, tensile, compression, cyclic loading, cold creep, etc), Accelerated Weathering, and Salt Spray.
