TaeguTec’s history began in April 1916 in Gangwon-Do, South Korea after the Sang-Dong tungsten mine was discovered. Since then, TaeguTec has been a market leading manufacturing company supplying cutting tools and industrial products such as tungsten carbide rolls and tungsten powders to the global manufacturing industry.
TaeguTec tungsten carbide roll production line is regarded as one of the biggest and most advanced automated tungsten carbide roll manufacturing plants in the world. The facilities and systems at tungsten carbide roll plant enable TaeguTec to produce innovative products for a diverse range of applications throughout the steel industry such as wire rods, rebars, round bars, tubes, flat and angle bars. New applications and innovations are continuously introduced to increase productivity to supply the increasing demand from our customers. TaeguTec Carbide Rolls are acknowledged worldwide as the rolls consisting of the highest quality and most effective technology available in the market.
