Headquartered in Erie, PA, Onex leads the industry for combustion services and new furnace builds. Our expert team will spec, engineer, manufacture, and install furnaces for heat treating, box reheat, homogenizing, melting, preheating, and tempering. All components of the furnaces including combustion, controls, refractory, and fabrication are engineered and built by Onex.
As the TOTAL furnace solutions experts, we also provide refractory construction, bringing on crews of bricklayers and laborers. Whatever we determine our customers need, we can install it. Onex performs onsite refractory construction installs including ceramic fiber, Polycrystalline fiber, biosoulable fiber, brick work, ramming, cast in place, gunite, shotcrete, precast shapes, and emergency hot gunning.
Onex handles the entire process using our construction craftsmanship, engineering expertise, and professionalism to ensure customers get the highest quality results. That means we take complete ownership of the project for our customers from start to finish. Our combustion team can respond quickly to an emergency and will provide scheduled maintenance, training, and tuneups to meet the strictest survey qualifications.
Onex specializes in engineered precast refractory shapes thanks to our rapid prototyping capabilities, problem-solving approach, and superior surface finishes. We have three tightly controlled dry-out ovens onsite to ensure thorough part integrity to your specifications. Offering custom mold design and manufacturing onsite, we can manufacture deltas, runners, dog dishes, launders sections, jambs/lintels, sills, and any other shapes for demanding heat intensive applications.
Onex stocks various refractory consumables at the Erie location and Pittsburgh division and offers same day shipments and consignment programs. Items on our shelves include ceramic fiber blanket, board, paper, modules, high temperature cloth, a full range of monolithics, insulating firebrick, Superduty firebrick, ram, mortar, anchors, and other refractory consumable products.
