Cruises Atlantic Islands is a marketing and promotional association created in 1994 by Port Authorities of Madeira, Cape Verde & Canary Islands to promote fourteen closely ports in a variety of beautiful islands in the Atlantic's heart. Offering the best weather in Europe during wintertime thanks to Trade Winds and the situation, temperature swings 18°C/24°C 64ºF/75ºF all year round. Over last 20 years figures increased from 286,000 cruise passengers in 1994 to 2,800,000 in 2016. A variety of outstanding experiences in UNESCO World Heritage Sites and Biosphere Reserves. APRAM manages the ports in Madeira. ENAPOR manages all ports on Cape Verde. At the Canary Islands Archipelago, Port Authority of Tenerife manages the western ports and Port Authority of Las Palmas the eastern ports
