The Foundation Against Intolerance & Racism (FAIR) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to advancing civil rights and liberties for all Americans by promoting a common culture based on fairness, understanding, and humanity. FAIR in Education offers comprehensive consulting services that promote our compassionate, constructive, and pro-human approach to countering racism and intolerance in schools. We help schools create positive, inclusive learning communities and encourage a sense of belonging through our curricular offerings and programming. We offer an inclusive approach to ethnic studies with our Introduction to Ethnic Studies High School Course, as well as units and lessons to supplement pre-existing courses in history, social studies, and civics. We also offer pro-human professional development for teachers, staff, and school communities. Our work aims to inspire people to understand themselves and others as unique individuals and also members of the human race in order to work together toward a more optimistic future.
