MITTIN – Michigan Transition to Independence

While at MACUL, visit the MITTIN – Michigan Transition to Independence exhibition booth.  The booth is designed to support the presentation, “Using Virtual Reality as a Platform for Creating Access and Equity for Students with Disabilities.”  Stop by to get at-the-elbow support to install and access the MITTIN Virtual Life Skills Library of modules. Find out how these free virtual reality resources can play an essential role in creating special designed instruction.

MITTIN – Michigan Transition To Independence is a Virtual Life Skills Library of online modules which foster the development of independent living skills in the home and community.  Designed to support special education transition-related instruction, these virtual reality resources are free and available to parents, schools, educators and students in Michigan.  MITTIN is a collaboration of the Michigan Association of Administrators of Special Education (MAASE), Michigan Council for Exceptional Children (MCEC), Great Lakes Reality Labs (GLRL) and Public Policy Associates (PPA).
