Department of Biology

The IU Biology Department offers PhD programs in Evolution, Ecology and Behavior (EEB); Microbiology; Genome, Cell & Developmental Biology (GCDB). Doctoral students are fully supported with teaching/research assistantships and/or fellowships.  All Applications are Due December 1.

Department of Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry offers a PhD in chemistry that is internationally well-respected in both industry and academia. Students may choose to focus on one of six specialized areas of chemistry or to pursue research projects spanning multiple areas. International Deadline: December 1; Domestic Deadline: December 15
