The Office of Biomedical Research Education & Training at Vanderbilt supports the training of graduate and undergraduate students pursuing careers in scientific research. Our office administers the first year PhD programs, the MD/PhD program and the Summer Science Academy, a research program for visiting undergraduate students. Students may train in any one of over 200 labs in the following areas: biochemistry, biological sciences, cancer biology, cell and developmental biology, chemical and physical biology, human genetics, microbiology & immunology, molecular physiology & biophysics, neuroscience, pathology, and pharmacology.
