Our PhD programs utilize an admission portal known as the BIMS, which fosters cooperative learning and interdisciplinary research. The latter are a hallmark of the School of Medicine yielding many peer-reviewed and extramurally-funded graduate training programs (e.g. Biodefense, Biotechnology, Cancer, Cardiovascular, Cell and Molecular Biology, Infectious Diseases, Medical Scientist Trianing Program [MSTP, MD/PhD], Molecular Biophysics, Neuroscience, Pharmacological Sciences).
