University of South Florida-Cell Biology, Microbiology, Molecular, Integrative, Chem. & Physics
The Departments of Cell Biology, Microbiology, and Molecular Biology (CMMB), Integrative Biology, Chemistry, and Physics are within the School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (SNM) at the University of South Florida (USF). Faculty within each department have proven records of securing funding from federal (NIH, NSF, DOD, NOAA, DOE, EPA, USDA, etc.), state, and local agenices, and private industry. Graduate students completing Doctor of Philosophy degrees are highly successful in obtaining predoctoral fellowships, post-doctoral awards and appointments and faculty positions, and careers with state and federal agencies and in consulting. Interdisciplinary relationships are actively pursued with on-campus researchers at the H.
