The Sackler School of Graduate Biomedical Sciences at Tufts University is located in the heart of downtown Boston. The School offers six Ph.D. Basic Biomedical Programs: Cell, Molecular, and Developmental Biology with tracks in Structural & Chemical Biology; Cancer Biology; Cellular & Molecular Medicine and Developmental & Regenerative Biology; Genetics; Immunology; Molecular Microbiology; Neuroscience and Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics. The School also offers specialized tracks including the Medically-oriented Research in Graduate Education - Infectious Disease Track (MERGE-ID) and the Mammalian Genetics JAX Track in Immunology, Molecular Microbiology and Genetics Ph.D. programs. In addition, The School offers a Medical Scientist Training Program (MD/PhD), a Master’s of Science in Pharmacology and Drug Development as well as Post-Baccalaureate Research Internships, and summer internships for undergraduate students interested in pursuing research careers in the biomedical sciences are also available.
