The Sackler Institute at NYU School of Medicine is a division of the Graduate School of Arts and Science of New York University, offering programs in the basic medical sciences, leading to the Ph.D. degree and combined M.D./Ph.D. degrees. We also offer a Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) and more recently, introduced a Master's in Biomedical Informatics. The Sackler Institute at the NYU School of Medicine is a division of the Graduate School of the Arts and Science of New York University. Students can complete their thesis research in the laboratories of more than 180 NYUSoM faculty members who have appointments in basic science or clinical departments, as well as associated faculty located at the NYU main campus.
