National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke
The mission of the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), a component of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), is to reduce the burden of neurological disease. NINDS offers programs to prepare students and fellows to pursue research careers in neuroscience and specific programs to enhance diversity of the neuroscience workforce by supporting individuals at high school to faculty career stages. These include fellowships, diversity supplements, and summer research training opportunities.
